There has never been a better time to make the trip "wonder out yonder" to the Ravensthorpe Wildflower Show with 700 specimens on display in the Town Hall alongside the biggest regional Herbarium.

Scheduled to run over 13 days, visitors will be allowed to be guided by experts through the magnificent landscapes and flora in the Ravensthorpe Shire which encompasses the Fitzgerald River National Park.

There will be craft stalls, art exhibitions, patchwork, four-wheel drive tag-along tours, guided nature walks, plus walk with a ranger in the Fitzgerald River National Park, and hot spot bus tours. There will also be workshops, local geology tours, and various food and beverages available including Fervor Food, an Indigenous degustation food experience. Be sure to treat yourself to a Devonshire Tea in the Historic Community Centre.

A key part of the Shire is the world-class Fitzgerald River National Park, a biodiversity Hot Spot; that showcases itself along a wild and beautiful coastline, and features surfaced coastal roads, interpretive displays, walk trails and spectacular lookouts.

Kukenarup Memorial (State Heritage award for 2016) is an interpretive memorial, just 15 kilometres West Ravensthorpe on the south coast highway, a covered area, bush walk, orchids and wildflowers.

Stay awhile to explore the region's wildflower hotspots and discover flora and fauna not to be seen anywhere else on Earth.
