Cape Lodge has been awarded the Best Boutique Hotel in Australia at the 2008 HM Awards for Hotels and Accommodation Excellence.
It’s been a highly successful year for Cape Lodge after being voted in the World’s Best 100 Hotels and ranking in the Top Ten in the World for Food by Conde Nast Traveller.
The HM Awards recognise the leading hotels in Australia, New Zealand the South Pacific. Over 600 properties were nominated and after a lengthy voting process by a key judging panel involving 50 industry professionals and travel media the winners were decided last Thursday.
Among the competition luminaries in the 2008 Best Boutique Hotel Category were Lilianfels, the Orient Express Hotel in the Blue Mountains in NSW, The Lyall Hotel and the Lindrum Hotel in Melbourne, The Islington in Tasmania and The Quay Grand Suites in Sydney.
