1. Kings Park & Botanic Garden

Kings ParkLocation: West Perth

2. Perth Zoo

Perth Zoo is highly regarded for its breeding programs for critically endangered species.
 

3. Scitech Discovery Centre

Location: West Perth
Science is fun at Scitech - an interactive discovery centre that is also home to Australia’s largest planetarium. See over one hundred hands-on exhibits, science performances and puppet shows.
 

4. Museum of Western Australia

Do you want to see dinosaur fossils, stone-age tools, meteorites, preserved vertebrates and invertebrates or perhaps some living frogs? The Discovery Centre at the Museum of Western Australia has interactive displays and activities where young people and adults can touch and interact with the collections. 5. Perth Mint

Location: East Perth
See the world’s largest gold bar exhibition and Australia’s largest natural nugget collection at Perth Mint, one of the oldest working mints in the world. Also at the Mint watch a live gold pour, take a guided tour, step on the gold scales to see how much you’re worth in gold; engrave your own medallion; or browse the gold store.
 

6. The Bell Tower

Location: Perth
Experience one of the largest musical instruments on earth. Custom built to house the bells of Saint Martin in the Fields Church, that date back to before the 14th century, the Bell Tower is the only place in the world where you can view bell ringing or have a go at bell ringing yourself.
 

7. Caversham Wildlife Park

Caversham Wildlife ParkLocation: Swan Valley
Meet and feed the inhabitants of one of the largest private collections of native animals in Australia, with kolas, kangaroos, quokkas, emus, camels, dingoes and more. Paved pathways give easy access to wheelchairs and prams.

9. Fremantle Prison
