Busselton Wetlands
These stunning wetlands are home to 35,000 birds - around 90 species in total! Set along a 25 kilometre strip behind the dunes of Geographe Bay, it also houses an interpretive centre, walk trails, boardwalks and viewing platforms.
Native mammals including kangaroos and brush wallabies can be spotted among rare wildflowers, woodlands, and stands of karri trees in this 2,500 hectare park. Set in the stunning surrounds of a jarrah forest, this fascinating educational centre is packed with fun, nature-based activities and camping excursions. Expect to see plenty of native birds and fauna on the many walk trails.
