These distinguished marine birds can be found swimming freely in the Shoalwater Marine Park, less than one hour from Perth city.

Penguin Island was named after the large breeding colony of Fairy Penguins, which inhabit the island.

Fairy Penguin ExperienceFairy Penguins are the smallest of the penguin family and live on the island in sand burrows and limestone caverns.

Visitors are able to explore the island, or can take in a guided experience within the island's penguin interpretive centre.
