Duration: 2 Days
With so many child-friendly activities, special events during school holidays and loads of wide open space for picnicking and letting off steam, the valley is an ideal destination for families.
Arrive Swan Valley for a day of fun. Call into the Swan Valley Visitor Centre and pick up a free Food and Wine Trail map detailing all of the attractions in the Swan Valley. Ask our friendly staff for advice on where to find locally made nougat, chocolate, fresh produce and ideas for family activities.
Decide on a game of Supa Golf using big clubs and balls. Not too many arguments on the course, but certainly ready for refreshments!
Stop at roadside stall and buy the freshest grapes (seasonal) - the kids love them AND they are healthy.
Stop for a round of delicious Swan Valley Grape Juice and a light lunch. Spot a horse drawn wagon on the road.
Call the Visitor Centre to see about accommodation in the Valley and book a wagon tour for the next day.
Time for a wildlife park or farm experience! The kids will love spotting the Australian flora and fauna.
Stop at one of the many award winning wineries. Buy a few bottles for your stay in Perth and send some home to remind you of the Swan Valley later, using reasonable postal rates from winery. Check out the breweries the next day!
Check into your accommodation. Welcoming hosts; great setting. Kids happy! Parents happy!
