서호주에는 70개가 넘는 국립공원과 해양공원 그리고 수많은 주립 삼림 휴양지들이 2 천만 헥타르(2억 km²)가 넘는 지역에 지정되어 운영되고 있습니다. 대부분의 국립공원과 휴양지에는 피크닉 장소와 산책로 또는 기타 명소뿐 만 아니라 식수와 화장실 같은 기본적인 시설을 갖추고 있습니다.
