This could be just the experience you're looking for

Coupled with extraordinary travel opportunities, breathtaking landscapes and great weather, Western Australia is a great destination to consider for a working holiday with employment opportunities available in various destinations throughout the State.

Take your pick from office-based opportunities in the capital city of Perth to harvesting grapes in the Margaret River wine region in the South West, or driving a haul pack truck in the mines in the North West.

REAL LIFE STORIES: WORK AND PLAY IN Western Australia

It is possible to get the perfect work-life balance in Western Australia. Work in a hostel or bar, then spot quokkas on Rottnest Island or swim with dolphins in Rockingham. Make friends and memories whilst making chocolate and wine in Margaret River and when work has finished for the day, let the beach adventures begin.

Farm work will help you qualify for a second year visa and this will give you extra opportunities to gain new skills and explore more of Western Australia.
