Ellendale Pool is a stunning waterhole naturally formed along the picturesque Greenough River surrounded by magnificent gum trees and a rocky gorge.

Ellendale Pool is a popular picnic and camping spot with toilet facilities, gas barbecues, picnic tables and shade. Dogs are permitted on a lead. There is no drinking water. Camping fees apply.

A visit to nearby Greenough is also worthwhile to see numerous well-preserved historic buildings. Ellendale Pool and Greenough are a perfect stopover on your way to the state's north.

Ellendale Pool is a four-and-a-half hour drive north of Perth and a 45-minute drive south-east of Geraldton and is one of the recommended stops on the Greenough Tourist Drive.
