Moons Crossing is a beautiful section of the Warren River just outside Northcliffe with spectacular rock pools and magnificent photographic opportunities. Settle down for lunch at the picnic facilities while admiring the beauty of the crossing.

The crossing is a popular spot for four-wheel drive vehicles. Watch them tackle the river from your vantage point on the river bank. Due to the treacherous waters that have eroded the concrete river bed, the river can now only be crossed by four-wheel drive vehicles during the summer months when the water levels are low.

For the avid hikers, the Bibbulmun Track is close to the crossing and joins up with the local Blackberry Pool Walk Trail which offers a scenic walk through the karri and jarrah forests and leads down to the Warren River. Collect a brochure at the Northcliffe Visitor Centre.

Camping is permitted at Moons Crossing; however there are no camping facilities. Moons Crossing is a 20 minute drive north of Northcliffe and just under a four hour drive south of Perth.
