Matagarup Bridge is an iconic landmark - a pedestrian bridge over the Swan River linking East Perth to Optus Stadium. The shape of the bridge resembles two flying swans, the arches wishbones or could also be seen as a swimming dolphin, a Wagyl serpent or ribbon.
The bridge is often lit with multicolour LED lighting and it is a must-see day and night!
With amazing, breathtaking views, why not climb the bridge - tours are available during the day and night and also on full moons.
Before climbing, you will undertake a safety induction and be fitted with a full body harness, helmet and a bridge latch device with tether to ensure your safety at all times. This is a challenging climb and not for the faint-hearted. You will also be provided with your zipline trolley, which will be harnessed to your back for your trek up the bridge.
