St Werburgh’s Chapel in Mount Barker was built as a place of worship for the original settlers of the area. Examine the excellent craftsmanship and study the history of the church. If your visit falls on a day of worship, attend one of the chapel’s regular services which are still held by candlelight as the chapel has never had electricity.

The chapel is currently open to the public on the fourth Saturday of each month from 10 am - 4 pm and to parishioners on the following Sunday.
