Hang out with the playful and curious teenagers of Seal Cove - a colony of New Zealand fur seals and Australian sea lions that have made their home on the north side of Breaksea Island near Albany.

This top-rated dive site sits in King George Sound, 12 kilometres south-east of Albany and is easily accessed by boat or with a local dive charter.

The seals are the stars of the show here. Watch them lazing on the nearby rocks or gliding gracefully through the water as you swim over giant rock bommies, southern black corals, brittle stars and Gorgian fans, or explore caves filled with bullseyes and swallowtail nannygais.

As this spot is sheltered from the currents of the Southern Ocean, with a depth range of two to 18 metres, Seal Cove is suitable for divers of all levels of experience.
