Set around a courtyard garden in the southern cloister of the Monastery, the Guesthouse provides accommodation and meals to those who wish to spend some time apart from the hustle and bustle of daily life, it's a perfect place for that digital detox you have been wishing for.

In keeping with the rule of St Benedict to "welcome guests as Christ", the monks invite all guests to join them in their daily round of Mass and Prayer. Spiritual direction and reconciliation are available on request.

For those interested in guided retreats, a series of Benedictine Experience weekends are run throughout the year. These weekends provide the opportunity to enter fully into the monastic rhythm and balance of prayer, work, Lectio divina, hospitality and community life. There will be opportunities to ponder the riches of the scriptures and monastic literature and participants are invited to join the community for silent meals in the refectory.

The Guesthouse has eight rooms with shared facilities, eight twin rooms with en-suites, a cottage perfect for family bookings and a hermitage for silent retreats. Group bookings are welcome, the guesthouse being a perfect venue for Parish and staff retreats.
