Join a day of short treks designed to showcase the splendour of Western Australia’s Cape Range National Park and the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Ningaloo Coast. Walk the red ramparts and magnificent gorges of Cape Range, down through the coastal plains and dunes and into the refreshing turquoise waters of Ningaloo Lagoon. A journey of only a few kilometres in distance though a humbling 25 million years in time.

The Cape Range Explorer - One-day trekking adventure begins with the longest trek of the day (approximately four to six kilometres) as you explore one of the many canyons that dissect the North West Cape. Then trek to the top of Cape Range, affording breathtaking views of the Ningaloo coastline below with its fringing coral reef beyond - one of the largest fringing reefs on Earth.

After a relaxing, hearty lunch, take the opportunity to explore the Ningaloo Coast, trekking pristine beaches and coastal dunes with a refreshing swim only metres away. Then, time permitting, explore the tranquillity of Mangrove Bay with a short walk or just take a seat in the bird hide and take it all in before heading home to Exmouth.
