Mount Clarence provides spectacular views out across the town of Albany and the surrounding bays. Climb the mountain to see the Desert Mounted Corps Memorial, a tribute to the soldiers who fought at Gallipoli in World War One. It stands near the peak of Mount Clarence as a tribute to the soldiers whose last view of Australia would have been of Mount Clarence. The Memorial is also the site of Albany's annual Anzac Dawn Service.
