Mount Clarence provides spectacular views out across the town of Albany and the surrounding bays. Walk along the heritage trail which starts at the memorial and winds around the edges of Mount Clarence. Appreciate the panoramic views of Princess Royal Harbour, King George Sound and Middleton Bay. Make sure you keep a lookout for signs of humpback whales and dolphins that visit these waters.

Climb the mountain to see the Desert Mounted Corps Memorial, a tribute to the soldiers who fought at Gallipoli in World War One. It stands near the peak of Mount Clarence as a tribute to the soldiers whose last view of Australia would have been of Mount Clarence. The Memorial is also the site of Albany's annual Anzac Dawn Service.
