Located in the Millstream-Chichester National Park, Stargazers Camp is close to the Deep Reach Pool on the Fortescue River (2.5 kilometres away), where campers can enjoy swimming, canoeing and kayaking.
Stargazers is a medium-sized campground in spinifex and eucalyptus woodland. It is the closest campground to Nhanggangunha Deep Reach Pool and is open from April to October only.
Bushwalking trails are also close by near the Millstream Homestead Visitor Centre with options for all ages and fitness levels. For keen walkers, there are also a number of other walk trails further from the camp in the Chichester Ranges.
Fifteen unpowered, compacted gravel surface campsites of varying sizes in six named areas. Generators are permitted in some areas only, and some areas are closed during periods of low demand.
Gas barbecues are provided. Campfires are not permitted. Campers are advised to bring enough drinking water for the duration of their stay.
