Experience the natural world from a whole new perspective at the Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings as you wander the elevated walkway and take in views of Western Australia’s mighty tingle trees, which can live for more than 400 years and are found nowhere else on Earth.

Leave Perth behind for a four-and-a-half-hour drive along the south coast to the unique green beauty of Walpole-Nornalup National Park and the Walpole Wilderness Area. The walk is located 15 minutes east of the charming country town of Walpole.

The first trail of its kind, the Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk has been especially designed to maximise views of the area’s tall timbers and densely forested hills while causing minimal impact to the surrounding environment.

Spot native birds twittering in the foliage as you explore the 600-metre-long tree top walk, located 40 metres above ground. Once you’ve immersed yourself in this serene sanctuary, it’s time to descend to the Ancient Empire Walk – a boardwalk trail that leads through centuries-old native eucalyptus trees.

Tourists are advised to check for alerts and road/park closures before commencing their travel.
