Muslim Visitor's Guide to Western Australia It is our pleasure to welcome you to our wonderful State. Approximately 30 per cent of our population were born overseas and our multicultural society encompasses people from around the world.

This guide will be useful during your stay as it covers information for both business visitors and tourists, including advice on Australian visa requirements, as well as the locations of mosques in the metropolitan and regional areas of Western Australia. Also included are halal certified companies, from meat to honey, and a directory of restaurants and food outlets that serve and sell halal cuisine.

For those planning a longer stay in Western Australia, we have also provided the contact details of Islamic schools and associations, and Federal and State Government agencies such as the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and the Department of Immigration, Multicultural and Indigenous Affairs.

Whether your visit to Western Australia is for business or pleasure, we hope it will be memorable and enjoyable.
