The walk begins at the Guildford Heritage Precinct. Here, you'll learn about the Old Colonial Gaol c.1841, Taylor's Cottage and the Courthouse c.1866, including prison cells, police quarters, and magistrate's rooms.
Stroll south along Meadow Street, passing the Mechanics' Institute and the original post office, then cross the railway to Helena Street. Along the way, admire the art deco Guildford Town Hall, Kings Meadow and Western Australia's oldest continually operating primary school.
