The Discovery Centre is a not for profit organisation and eco-tourism venue located at Koombana Bay Bunbury.

The Bay is home to over 100 wild bottlenose dolphins who often visit the Dolphin Discovery Centre's beach in knee-high water. The centre runs year-round eco cruises out into the bay where you will see the dolphins in their natural habitat. In summer their "Swim with Dolphin" tour operates where you can swim with wild dolphins.

Inside the interpretive centre tells the story of the region and the dolphin ecosystem, with aquariums, interactive displays, a 360 dolphinarium, theatre and more. The centre provides a unique experience that uses embedded technology along with natural displays to create a memorable experience for visitors that complements the wild dolphin experience of the beach Interaction Zone and Dolphin Tours.

They provide educational activities and field-based learning in marine and environmental studies. These activities include both incursions and excursions and the content within each has been designed to be interactive, entertaining and educational.

With a cozy setting in winter and an open setting in summer, the cafe is beachside alongside Koombana Bay. On weekends, head upstairs to their Sunset Bar for local food and drinks whilst watching the sunset across Koombana Bay.
