Wolfe Creek Meteorite Crater is the second largest meteorite crater in the world from which meteorite fragments have been collected. It was formed by a massive meteorite smashing to earth around 300,000 years ago.

The campground has an information shelter and toilets and is accessible only by four-wheel drive (4WD).
