Take a walk over to the old well, which dates back to the mid-1800s. Early settlers to the area collected drinking water from the well, and it is still supplying water today. Bask in the pleasant surroundings and settle back for a picnic lunch before enjoying a walk around the summit of Emu Hill Rock, where the lookout is located.
Roe Lookout is just a five-minute drive west of the delightful town of Narembeen and a three-and-a-half-hour drive east of Perth. The Central Wheatbelt town of Narembeen was established in the early 1900s and tells its charming story through several museums and the old Cumminin homestead.
