Visitors to the South West Rail and Heritage Centre can view historic rolling stock and agricultural machinery collections housed on-site. The men of the Capel Mens Shed will be on hand with their handmade timber and metal work, and the Blacksmiths will be working using traditional methods. There are model railway layouts which attract the younger ones.
Often there are special displays by visiting groups based on the theme of the day.
Delicious refreshments are available to purchase from the Picnic Van.
The South West Rail and Heritage Centre is open from 9am till 2pm on the fourth Sunday of each month except December. Group visits at other times can be arranged.
