Drysdale Station sits just to the north of the Gibb River Road, almost half way between Derby and Kununurra. In the dry season, between May and September, charter flights to airstrip can be arranged from Kununurra and most other towns in the Kimberley. Scenic flights, day tours and overnight tours also operate from the airstrip, taking you deeper into true wilderness.
Heading out on foot from the station, you can explore ancient rainforests and open woodlands, or go fishing for barramundi on the river banks. But it’s from the air that you’ll see the full spectacle.
Follow the Prince Regent River over magnificent Mount Hann, King Cascades, St George Basin, Mount Trafalgar, Prince Frederick Harbour, the Hunter River, Donkins Hill Falls and Mitchell Falls. You may even spot crocodiles, dugongs and whales along the way.
