Experience the natural world from a whole new perspective at the Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings as you wander the elevated walkways and take in views of Western Australia’s mighty tingle trees, which can live for more than 400 years and are found nowhere else on Earth.

Leave Perth behind for a drive along the south coast to the unique beauty of Walpole-Nornalup National Park and the Walpole Wilderness Area. The walk is located 15 minutes from the charming country town of Walpole.

The first trail of its kind, the Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk has been designed to maximise views of the area’s tall trees and densely forested hills while causing minimal impact to the surrounding environment.

Spot native birds twittering in the foliage as you explore the 600-metre-long Tree Top Walk, located 40m above ground. The Tree Top Walk is suitable for all abilities and is wheelchair accessible as well as stroller-friendly.

Once you’ve immersed yourself in this serene sanctuary, it’s time to descend to the Ancient Empire – a boardwalk and sealed path trail that leads through the centuries-old tingle forest. 500 metres of the Ancient Empire trail is suitable for all abilities, the other 150 metres has some steps.

Visitors are advised to check for alerts and road/park closures before commencing their travel.
