Sandy Cape Recreation Reserve is located 10 kilometres north of Jurien Bay. It can be easily accessed by two-wheel drive vehicles along a sealed 7-kilometre road off Indian Ocean Drive.

The Main Campground is a recreational, nature-based campground located parallel to the beach with 108 numbered sites accessible via two-wheel drive vehicles.

The limited main campground facilities include long drop eco-toilets, a universal access toilet, barbeques, picnic tables, parking for day visitors, walkways and limited non-potable water. There is no power, no drinking water and no showers.

To the north and south of the main campground, there are two natural coastal bushland areas available to fully self-contained campers travelling by high clearance four-wheel drive vehicles. There are no facilities in these areas and no allocated sites. You must bring everything with you, and take all rubbish and human waste out with you.

Bookings are essential for all camping at Sandy Cape.
