The Amberley Lobo effect instantly lights up a room from the TV screen and elevates stadiums packed to the rafters with sports fans. She’s the very essence of a Dreamer. Always imagining something bigger for herself and not afraid to go after it. Forever following her passion for celebrating the people and places, stories and culture that make Western Australia so special.

Back in 2009, Amberley bounced energetically into the nation’s living rooms and hearts as a children’s TV presenter for ABC 3. And with her trademark bold spirit, she’s entered collabs with Channel Seven, CBS Network and BBC UK; made the leap into MCing live sporting and arts events; produced digital content for big brands like AFL to hosting brands like Google; and launched her own podcast 'Welcome to the Jungle'.
“Western Australia is literally a place where dream events happen. We’ve got so much variety. Every week I’m doing something different, somewhere different. There are always new things popping up on the calendar, and it's honestly non-stop,” smiles Amberley, who finds her people and her happy place in sports and arts.
“When you’re hosting sports and arts events, you get to create that energy and atmosphere that pulls everyone into the experience and makes everyone feel seen. People from all different walks of life and backgrounds come together for this one special moment in time, and they can just forget about whatever's going on in their lives. You're all in this magical experience together. It's so special.”

The highest of her career highs was unlocking a core memory for over 60,000 AFL fans in Australia’s most beautiful stadium, when the Grand Final came to Perth (Boorloo) in 2021.
“It was the first time it's come to WA, hopefully not the last time. I was lucky enough to co-host, and it was so fun because the whole crowd was so excited and so energised. It was a good time,” says Amberley.
It’s a tough act to follow, but Amberley’s got her sights firmly fixed on hosting an event in regional Western Australia.

“That would be the dream,” she gasps. “The regional events scene is going off. Seriously, there is so much to do. And the good thing about regional events in Western Australia is the location. It's so beautiful. If you haven't been to one yet, you need to get one.”
And if you happen to be in Perth in late January or early February, you might just get to rub glittered shoulders with this legend of art, sports & entertainment. It’s Fringe time in Perth – her favourite event on Perth’s jam-packed calendar that embodies all the imaginative, curious, fun and playful creative spirit of Western Australia.
“If there’s one event everyone should know about, it’s Fringe Festival,” says. “Artists from all around the world in one spot. And the whole of Perth goes pink.”
