Located in Cape Range National Park, North Mandu Camp has access to a wide sandy beach for swimming, snorkelling and launching canoes and kayaks in the Ningaloo Marine Park.

The nearby Ningaloo Marine Park also offers diving and surfing, and the chance to see whalesharks, marine turtles and humpback whales.

Cape Range National Park also offers walking trails and scenic lookouts.

Mandu Mandu Gorge is a three kilometre return walk away. Bushwalking experience is recommended as temperatures can be extreme and no shade or drinking water is available along the track.

North Mandu Camp is a small campground with just five sites suitable for regular-size campervans, caravans, camper trailers and tents.

Campfires and generators are not permitted at any time. No fresh water is available.

Peak season is April (or from Good Friday when Easter falls in March) to October. Queues can be long, particularly during holiday periods.

November to March is cyclone season: check for notification of parks closures.
