Zipping along on their wide wingspans and occasionally leaping out of the sea, manta rays are the ballet dancers of the ocean. Come face-to-face with up to 300 of these graceful creatures – who use their toothless mouths as a sieve to feed on plankton and krill – on a swim tour; they lack sharp barbs, so you can feel confident swimming nearby. Manta rays live year-round at Coral Bay, and from June to November at Exmouth.
