Learmonth Airport provides a gateway to Heritage Listed Ningaloo Marine Park - home of the whale shark - a must do experience in the Coral Coast of Western Australia. The terminal which opened in December 1999 has won a number of Royal Australian Institute of Architects awards for its innovative design which represents the coral reef.
